Happy Friday

It’s been one of those weeks — the kind where it’s suddenly 4:30pm and I remember I need to write this letter to you all.

I blame half-term.
(You know me — I’ll attempt to blame most things on the school holidays.)

But I do blame half-term, and the discombobulation that always seems to come with it.
Too short to find a new rhythm, too long not to completely destroy the old one.

So this is a quick note to say: if it’s half-term for you too, I see you.
I hope you’re hanging in there.

And while I’m here — I wanted to share a podcast I’ve been loving lately (well, pre-this-week when I still had time for podcasts):
In Haste with Alice Vincent and Charlotte Runcie.

They describe it as “a place for people who love to read, write, and think about books” — and that’s exactly what it is. Like being included in a cosy chat between two thoughtful, bookish pals. Highly recommend.
